A YangYang(ヤンヤン,  襄陽) and Sokcho tour to commemorate the opening of the Seoul-Yangyang Expressway from June 31st to July 3st 2017 (3) - Sokcho Jungang Market, The Mansuk Chicken gang-jeong, Open-air bath (서울-양양 간 고속도로 개통 기념으로 며칠간 양양 및 속초 여행 - 속초중앙시장, 만석닭강정, 봉포머구리횟집, 설악파인리조트 야외온천(露天風呂)

After Namae(YangYang) tour, We moved to Sokcho to enjoy a hot spa. today lodging is 설악파인리조트. this condo(condominium) is old but cheap and has outdoor hot springs(Open-air bath)



I booked an ondol room without a bed. it's much larger and cozier.


It's time to enjoy the outdoor hot spring. 露天風呂を 楽しむ 時間だ . clean and morden bath. there is a swimming pool, too.



Try a walking bath. I highly recommend you try this. You can see Seorak mountain behind the outdoor hot spring. The scenery is so nice and great. 









속초중앙시장(sokcho jungang market, Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market) 

Sokcho Jungang Market offers various goods like general industrial products, clothes, and agricultural and marine products. It is the main market in the region and fresh seafood, including prepared raw, is available at a reasonable price.

Squid sundae(Sundae made of Squid) is one of the most popular in the Sokcho Jungang market.


만석닭강정(The Mansuk chicken gangjeong / sweet and sour Chicken) . if you go to Sokcho Jungang market. you should try it. Never regret! we always buy this chicken gangjeong here when we visit this market.


Also When I've been to 속초, I often go to this restaurant named 'bongpo mugurijib(봉포머구리집)'. this eatery is very famous for ' Cold Raw Fish Soup' in Sokcho. You'd better Give it a try.

And Sundae is a very popular local food in Sokcho. You can find well-known eatery for Sunde in 속초중앙시장 as well.


I definitely recommend sun-da or sun-da soup with a bottle of soju when you come here or come to 속초. (속초중앙시장 순대국)







the way to Seoul, after finishing my schedule in YangYang and Sokcho. We took the Seoul-yangyang expressway. there are many long tunnels on this expressway(the highway from Seoul to YangYang.)






Narincheon rest area on the highway from Seoul to YangYang.(서울 양양 고속도로, 내린천 휴게소). the building and lounge are very modern and polished




We stopped by the hongcheon rest area on the expressway. there are two rest areas on the expressway. this is one of two. let's take a break at this rest area. also, let's take a look at the scenery and get some fresh air.

Masan and Geoje island Tour from July 18 to 22, 2017 (2) - 거제 포로수용소 공원(Geoje prison camp historic park) and 해물뚝배기(항만식당 Seafood Stew in Hot Pot) On the second day in Masan, We went to the Geoje prison camp(It is named ' Historic Park of Geoje POW Camp' )  located in Geoje island(on the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do province) for a sighting.  We went through Geoje Bridge(거제대교) into Geoje island which is the 2nd biggest island in Korea after Jeju. and Geoje is well known for  its shipbuilding industry. Geoje-do prison camp was a prisoner-of-war camp located in Geoje in the southernmost part of Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. Real Geoje prisoner Camp was closed following the signing of the Armistice Agreement. instead, A memorial park was established on part of the old camp in 1997.  it incorporates recreation of prisoner barracks and life and a display of period and more modern military hardware The entrance of Historic Park of Geoje POW Camp looked like The park is very huge

Jeju Tour for 2 weeks with my wife's parents(Father in law, Mather in law) From June 22 To July 3, 2020 (1) - To Jeju by a car ferry at Wando and SeobjiKoji 1) First day: From Wando To Jeju by a car ferry called 'the Silver Could' We decided to use a car ferry in Wando Port to go to Jeju. because We had to take my car. We arrived at Wando Ferry terminal in June 2020.  We loaded my car into a ferry at this point(Place to load cars into a ship) It's a dock to load a car heading the Jeju The Car ferry we rode on is below. It is called the 'silver cloud' abalone-shaped sculpture in front of Wando Ferry Terminal 2) Next Day: we stayed at the Jeju Palace Hotel in Tapdong near Jeju ferry Passenger Terminal. There are many hotels and restaurants for tourists there. I stratified this hotel generally. The price is very reasonable and the Room quality is good. but the Hotel just has a few Parking spaces. so We had to use a public Parking lot nearby The hotel. The parking
